So, Collaboration… Isn’t it a wonderful thing when you find people that are like-minded and share the same style and vision? Well due to the wonder that is Instagram I have been lucky enough to come across many amazing and talented creatives and one of these such people is called Lisa Rushton the owner of Heart Vintage. Having loved the work that Lisa produces I contacted her to see if we could work on something together. She has a wonderful business based in Leicester producing gorgeous designs onto vintage plates. Lisa very kindly sent me one of her plates as a gift for me to use in my styling and I loved it. She has a fab style and because of this has been very successful in getting her name known and is doing really well. This is very exciting for Lisa and I am really chuffed for her. She has recently just updated her lovely website too so go take a look. Heart Vintage
When I was deciding on new additions for my range of styling kits I knew I wanted to try and incorporate Heart Vintage designs in it somewhere. Lisa mocked up some designs for me to create my bridesmaid gift kits and they were perfect. The idea behind the kit is that you would give it as a gift when asking your lovely ladies to be your bridesmaid or as a thank you afterwards for sharing your special day. Any of us that have been married will know just how important the bridesmaids become and how we couldn’t do without them!!
Each Styling Kit is unique to you and includes all of the usual components that you come to expect but with the added bonus of a vintage candle cup & saucer, a notepad to go with your Posh Girl Pencil – these were again especially designed for me by those lovely ladies at poshgirlprints and a Heart Vintage plate. The fact that each item is individually wrapped and packaged up beautifully means that you don’t have to do anything other than have the lovely warm fuzzy feeling of passing it on!
I am really pleased with the finished product and I hope to work with other small businesses and makers in the future. Get in touch xx
