A Garden Centre Wedding?
I am pretty sure if you told people you were having your wedding in a garden centre most people would think you were a bit strange and smile politely! But what if you were having it at Petersham Nurseries?

Well, it’s been a long time coming but I think we can all see spring on the horizon so when Dobbies garden centre asked me to style with their #springblooms I was extremely excited to get some colour in the garden.

Spring offers so much to weddings – colourful in-season flowers, gorgeous sun, and the giddy, exciting feeling of new beginnings. There’s just so much to take inspiration from during this season, as explained in a previous post here Spring holds a lot of fresh, warm promise, and is one of the best times of the year to get married.
Whether you’re planning a grand wedding with hundreds of guests or an intimate gathering with your family and closest friends, here are some springtime craft ideas for styling your wedding.

One whole year!! I never ever dreamed I would do it and there are days when I wish I hadn’t!! But I will never go back and here is why…

Workshop number 3!! Its hard to believe that less than a year ago myself and Tamsyn Morgans set out to bring our love for vintage styling to the masses and we are now planning workshop 4 & 5! Eridge Village Hall was the last setting and boy it didn’t disappoint in the pretty stakes. The moment we walked in we were so happy with the light and the space, the fact that it was one of the hottest days in June and we had the use of the beautiful garden and the view was amazing all helped!!

If you didn’t know already I absolutely LOVE flowers, my feed on Instagram is full of them, I sometimes worry that people will mistake me for a florist! I most certainly am not.

I have a bit of a thing for April! Because it is my birthday month I always get a bit excited which is silly I suppose especially when the days of party hats and candles are long gone – honestly we don’t do that anymore!
I always think when putting a plan together one should always do it in gorgeous surroundings!! This was certainly true when Tamsyn and I met for afternoon tea at Sketch in London last September and spent the day scheming and plotting!! From there the idea of the Decorative Vintage Styling Workshops were born.
Loads of people do it, I never have and I only ever had the minimum amount of maternity leave so I’ve never even been a stay at home mum. Since a very early age I have always worked for someone and now……
I won’t lie I am a pretty rubbish horticulturist!
